The method involves filling sand (4, 5) having two colors in a table-shaped container that is movable transverse to a feed direction, where the movement of the container is controlled by a controller. The sand having two colors and a slack form is applied on a carrier material e.g. non-woven, and an adhesive layer e.g. glue, is applied on the material, where the material is not moved during the application of the sand. The excessive sand is removed from a surface of a sand veneer plywood (1), and a protection layer from lacquer is applied on the material as an upper layer. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for executing a method for manufacturing a sand veneer plywood (2) a sand veneer plywood comprising a carrier material that is provided with an adhesive layer.
