An electronic transmitting circuit for terminals of data and teletype technology, which is connected via a single-current line (L) to a distant station, for example to the facilities (TS) in an exchange, exhibits a controllable current stabiliser circuit (K), the controllable switching element (T1) of which, a transistor as a rule, acts as transmitting contact. The current stabiliser circuit (K) is effective in a time-limited manner during the switching process and a filter characteristic can also be impressed on it.
