Four belongs to the Pula-based nutrition Hybrid New Varieties of Plants for the production of timber grown in the short term

Bellini, a new hybrid clone, was obtained by natural crossing between "Chautagne" Populusx euramericana and Populus nigra. This clone started to grow 8 days after crossing between Populus and euramericana "I-214" in the whole life cycle. The new clone had the ability to resist Merssonina brunnea and showed an immunity against Venturia polulina. Furthermore, this clone had a high productivity of wood.
