In this hoist device, the upper frame structure (1) is arranged overhung above the rails (2, 3) for the coke bucket transport cars and coke cake guide cars and is provided with two telescopically developed guide rails (9) from which the coke bucket (7) is suspended. During the hoisting of the coke bucket (7), the guide rails (9) are retracted by counterweights (17) while upon the down movement of the coke bucket (7) they are extended again by the weight of the bucket.
