Independent scotch for vehicle wheel - has block of elastomer holding bent rod to grip wheel and carrier vehicle ramp

The independent vehicle wheel chock is placed on a rough surface such as a corrugated ramp of a vehicle carrier. The rear can be locked in a hollow or protrusion. It consists of a block (1) of flexible material such as elastomer and it has parts (2) for fixing to the wheel. The fixing (2) is a pincer and it and the lock (3) are made in one piece. The locking of the assembly can be done by a flexible tensioner which works with the lock to hold on to the wheel concerned.
