The tyre is for a touring vehicle with a radial body and top band (1) with five circumferential rows of equal width parts. There is a central rib (2) and, on either side, two distinct rows (3,4). The central rib is continuous and formed by two fairly wide circumferential grooves (5). The two intermediate rows are separated by an intermediate circumferential groove (6). The parts of each row (3) are separated by transverse grooves (7) ending in the wide groove (5) and on the side of the band (1). These are spaced circumferentially by a distance greater than the width of the bands.
