Pressure steam ironing device - of steam iron and steam generator, connected by tubing

A pressure steam ironing device has a steam iron with holes in the sole plate to project the heated steam, and an independent steam generator joined to the iron by a tubular connection. The generator reservoir is heated from beneath by a flat heater plate. The water is never in contact with an electrical heating resistance and is not able to damage it. An easily handled pressure steam iron is provided which does not require high energy output, nor special precautions regarding the water quality contained within the reservoir.
