The drier has a chamber (1) with a heater at the top. Ambient air is drawn across this by a fan at the container base (2). Hot, humid, air is then fed out to atmosphere. A housing (6) is fixed on the heater (3) connected to the output channel for hot air (5) by a pipe (8). This has an aperture to let in fresh air (9). The container is also connected to the heater via a filter (7). A flap valve (10) controls fresh air admission and another (11) the supply of re-cycled hot air.
