In a cellular blowing machine, in particular for the stowing in mining and tunnelling, with fixed wearing plates which enclose a rotating cellular drum and which in each case have at the outer and inner margin a groove running coaxially to the cellular drum axis for accommodating a sealing arrangement, acted upon externally by pressure, for the outer and inner walls of the cells, provision is made for each plate to be composed of a disc and of one outer and inner ring each removably connected to the disc, and for each ring to be supplemented by the disc margin allocated to it to form the groove walls and the groove base.
