PURPOSE:To prepare a medical liquor containing royal jelly and ginseng, free from the defects of both components, and having improved medical effect by the synergistic effect, by mixing royal jelly with natural honey, dissolving the mixture in a fermentation liquid by the enzymatic action of microorganisms, and adding the product to an alcohol-extraction liquid of ginseng. CONSTITUTION:Natural honey (saccharinity: 80%) is diluted three times with water, adjusted to 4.0-6.0pH with lactic acid, mixed with fresh royal jelly, and maintained at 25 deg.C. A culture liquid of a specific yeast or mold is added to the mixture, and alcoholic fermentation of the mixture is carried out. Royal jelly is dissolved in the alcoholic liquid by the fermentation process. The obtained solution is filtered to separated the yeast, and the filtrate is added to an alcoholic extraction liquid of ginseng to thicken the color of the liquid. Licorice is put into the liquid to mitigate the smell of the ginseng and to impart the liquid with sweetness and the medical effect of licorice, and the product is left at rest for 3-12 months at =20 deg.C. The licorice is removed from the ripened product. Ginseng and empty queen pallace are left in the product to extract the residual active components and to give psychological effect to the consumers. The solution containing the ginseng, etc. is bottled and marketed.
