TABLET FOR MEASURING ABNORMAL FACTOR OF BLOOD COAGULATION WITH BETTER COLLAPSIBILITY

PURPOSE:To promote collapse of a tablet for measuring abnormal factor of blood coagulation in a blood sample by consisting the tablet of one compound selected from barium sulfate, barium carbonate and aluminum oxide and an additive. CONSTITUTION:Corn starch and dextrin are added to barium sulfate and homogenized by thorough mixing. After a refined water is added to the mixed powder thus obtained, the mixture is kneaded with an attritor and screened with a sieve of about 16-20 mesh. Then, it is dried at a specified temperature for a specified time. Then, it is screened again with a sieve of about 400 mesh to obtain granules. Talc is added to the granules and mixed thoroughly to produce a tablet in such a manner that the weight of a tablet reaches a specified value.
