In use, the polyethylene is on the outside and gives good mechanical and thermal resistance to snow, etc. The liner copolymer layer gives selective light transmission properties. The polyethylene pref. has low heat flow index and the copolymers pref. contains 18% of vinyl acetate w.r.t. ethylene.
