Support unit for flag pole - has angled mounting fitted to pole, on converging sleeve for broom-handle insertion

The pole (1) fits in an inclined sleeve (2) connected to a flange (3) which by means of screws (4), is secured to the wall (5). The flag pole has a fitting (6) consisting of curved plate (7), which is screwed onto the centre line of the pole. The tubular part which may be of steel, aluminium, or plastics, has a converging neck-section enabling insertion of a broom-handle. This wedges itself, enabling the user to pick-up the entire unit for insertion into the inclined sleeve. After fitting the flagstaff, the broom handle can be withdrawn.
