Light-box for reading maps etc. (illustrations, texts) in diffuse light or darkness, principally suitable for car drivers

The light-box is an aid to improved optical perception of maps or the like. It consists of a plastic box which accepts four bulbs in its interior and is masked by a diffuse pane of plastic. If the plug, which is accommodated in a separate compartment, is plugged into the cigar lighter, the diffuse pane is illuminated, as is the map material lying thereon. It can now be read easily. The light box is incorporated in a book cover, which also holds the individual maps.
