Water-soluble shear-resistant pressure-sensitive adhesive, and pressure-sensitive articles produced therewith

Water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive on the basis of copolymers of acrylic acid with di(alkoxyalkyl) fumarates and vinyl esters, which has been made pressure-sensitive by means of water-soluble plasticisers and is cured by beta -radiation. It allows articles to be pasted together which are resistant to shearing stress while keeping penetration down.
