This invention relates to a process for treating small sleeves intended for use in the production of film capacitors and preferably, but not necessarily, produced from polypropylene, which is characterised in that at least the interior wall of the sleeves is covered with a chlorinated polymer which is dissolved in a solvent such as toluene, benzene or aliphatic esters.
