The 3 dimensional puzzle consists of 4 tetrahedral elements (T1), 6 octahedral elements (W), and 4 other tetrahedral elements that form a regular octahedron whose faces are each divided into 4 triangular facets. It includes 2 complementary parts that move relatively to its 4 axes of symmetry. Each of the parts has a tetrahedron surrounded by 3 octahedrons and 3 other tetrahedrons. It has a central cavity containing a sphere with 4 cylindrical holes in which studs on some of the inner tetrahedrons fit. The other elements are held together by complementary notches and projections.
