Electric tooth-brush with pulsed water stream - uses pump to drive hydraulic motor for reciprocation of tooth-brush head

The toothbrush has the toothbrush head (8) fitted to the end of a flexible hose (2), coupled to a pump unit (1) incorporating a water tank (4) and providing a high pressure water stream. The fitting (3) between the toothbrush head (8) and the hose (2) acts as a handgrip and incorporates a hydraulic motor which provokes reciprocation of the toothbrush head (8). The delivered water stream is simultaneously used to direct pulsed jets onto the teeth and gums for thorough cleaning and massage. The handgrip incorporates a valve which allows the pulsed jets to be switched off while the toothbrush continues to be used. The toothbrush is designed for max. dental hygiene and is suitable for a wide range of users.
