The envelope for photographs, handkerchiefs etc. is made from a cut cardboard blank with fold lines defining a central rear wall panel (1). The edges of the panel are each extended by a flap, the two lateral or side flaps (4,5) forming the end walls whilst the top (3) and bottom (2) flaps form the cover and the front wall respectively. The length of the lateral flaps is such that when they are folded over, their ends overlap (12) and are glued together. The assembly is then completed by tucking in the front flap. The bottom edges of the lateral flaps may be extended by ancillary flaps (13,14) which are glued together in a similar manner (17) to provide a wall dividing the internal vol. into two.
