ROTARY MEMBER SUPPORTING HOLDER USED UNDER CORROSIVE ENVIRONMENT

PURPOSE:To provide a bearing usable under the corrosive environment by making both inner and outer rings from material having heat resistance and corrosion resisting characteristics and making the rollers from ceramics. CONSTITUTION:The staged part 4 of a rotary shaft 1 has the external peripheral face thereof engaged with a heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant inner ring 7 as to make contact with the staged shoulder part 4a thereof while the staged part 5 of the rotary shaft 1 has the internal peripheral face thereof engaged with a heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant outer ring 8 as to make contact with the stage shoulder part 5a and as to be opposed to the inner ring 7. A plurality of bearing's cylindrical rollers 9 made of heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant material, that is, ceramics are so arranged on the circumferential track inside an annular space defined between the race parts 7a and 8a of the inner and outer rings 7 and 8, that the rollers can roll with respect to both the external peripheral face 10 of the inner ring race part 7a and the internal peripheral face 11 of the outer ring race part 8a, thereby defining a bearing part 6 which rotatably holds the rotary shaft 1.
