PURPOSE:To manufacture the impact extrusion tube excellent in ductility, difficult to tear, by carrying out impact extrusion processing of Al alloy containing a specific quantity of Co as indispensable component and annealing moreover. CONSTITUTION:Al-Co alloy containing 0.2-1.2wt.% or Co, is made by melting and slab is made by carrying out casting and rolling processing. The above Al alloy slab is processed in the tube by impact extrusion, after annealing at 300-600 deg.C for about 1-20 minutes. The tube extremely excellent in ductility and having more repeating bending number of times than usual until to tear, is obtained.
