HAIR-NOURISHING AND HAIR-GROWING AGENT

PURPOSE:To provide the titled hair-nourishing and hair-growing agent effective to facilitate the circulation of blood, keep the normal state of circulation, suppress the falling-off of the hair, and promote the growth of the hair, by adding carbon dioxide gas to a blood circulation promoting agent, and sealing the mixture of acidic nature in a pressure vessel. CONSTITUTION:The objective agent contains (A) 0.001-5wt% of a blood circulation promoting agent (e.g. dl-alpha-tocopherol acetate, extract of Swertia japonica, etc.) and (B) =60ppm of carbon dioxide gas, and has a pH adjusted to =7 (preferably 4.5-6.5). The agent facilitates the circulation of blood and keeps the normal circulation state by the vasodilating activity of carbon dioxide gas. A propellant gas is sealed together with the agent in the pressure vessel to attain a pressure of preferably 1.2-8kg/cm2G at 35 deg.C. The diameter and length of the ejection nozzle are preferably selected to 0.3-1.5mm. and 1-15cm, respectively to enable the application of the agent directly to the scalp in the form of foam or liquid without staining the hair.
