The invention relates to a means for locking lining parts used for lining chimneys, which locking means facilitates installation of the lining, prevents the lining parts from mutually detaching of their own accord, and thus renders the result of installation work more reliable for operation over a long period of time. Moreover, the locking means permits installation of the lining without a lateral penetration of the chimney being necessary when introducing the conical element (3), used for fixing in the masonry, into said chimney. The invention is characterised in that the flexible tube (2) used for the lining is locked to the individual parts of the system by means of metal locking sheets (5, 6, 10, 12), the tube either being pushed onto (4) the connecting piece of the relevant part or pushed into (7) said connecting piece. When in the installed state, the individual parts of the lining thus form together a single, stable unit (Figures 2, 5, 6). IMAGE
