Household- and/or kitchen appliance with an accommodation space for receiving cooked food, in the case of a baking oven or a roasting oven, or for receiving crockery, in the case of a dishwashing machine, wherein the loading opening of the accommodation space is closable by means of a door, and the accommodation space has at least one holder for a support for the cooked food, or for a support for the crockery, and wherein the holder for the cooked food support or for the crockery support is constructed as a coupling of a crank drive, and wherein the pivoting axis of the crank which is adjacent to the loading opening lies near to the loading opening and the pivoting axis of the other crank lies approximately in the central region of the accommodation space, and the crank drive is constructed as a parallel crank, and the length of the cranks corresponds approximately to the inside height of the accommodation space, characterised in that the pivoting axes (8, 9) of all cranks (10, 11) lie outside the area defined by the accommodation space (1), and the rear holder (14) for the support or supports (16) for the cooked food or for the crockery is of L-shaped construction in side view, and the vertical limb (18) has cantilevers (19), arranged one above the other and having in each case undercut brackets (20) lying thereover, for the placing on and suspension of supports (16) for the cooked food or for the crockery, and wherein the horizontal limb (17) of the holder (14), and the cantilevers (19), with reference to the vertical limb (18), point in the same direction, that is to say, they are arranged on the same side of the vertical limb (18), and the cranks (10, 11) of the parallel crank (10-11) are articulated on the horizontal limb (17) of the holder (14), and when the parallel crank (10-11) is pivoted into the accommodation space (1), the vertical limb (18) of the rear holder (14) lies adjacent to the rear wall (15) of the accommodation space (1).
