The heater includes an air-conditioning unit (1), solar boiler (2), additional electrical heater (3) and solar panel collector (4). The solar boiler receives cold water via a pipe (11). The water may be fed via a pipe (12), expansion tank (13) and valve (14) to the solar panel collector from where heated water (via pipe (15) ) is fed to the solar boiler, then (via pipe (16) ) to the air conditioner. Water is returned to the boiler via pipe (18). Warm water from the boiler in the absence of sunshine, may be heated additionally by the electric immersion heater (3). The warm boiler water also supplies a shower (20) or bath. The air conditioner includes a heat recuperator (5) and heat exchanger (6).
