CONFORMABLE DISPOSABLE DIAPER HAVING REINFORCED PORTIONSABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA disposable diaper having improved fit aboutthe legs and/or waist of the wearer and having reinforcedcorners for enhanced securement of the diaper about thewearer is disclosed. Improved fit and reinforcement areobtained by an elongated, inherently elastic ribbon memberpositioned along at least one margin of the diaper. Theribbon member is secured to the diaper so as to provide anelastic region at a central portion of the margin and aunitary, relatively inelastic reinforced region in acorner portion of the diaper.
