This invention relates to an improved partially oriented nylon 66 yarn which is fit for false-twist texturing. Streams of nylon 66 polymer are pressed out at const. Speed and then cooled to form filaments. These filaments are spun more than 2200 MPM, and then form the yarn. For the produced nylon 66 yarn, the yarn has 15-250 denier, the normalized SAXS peak intensity is more than 1,3 and the normalized lamellan dimensional product is more than 1,3.
