The cast reinforced wall is embedded in the ground, using two elongated excavations (12,12A) with a definite clearance (14) between them. A transversely partitioned (4) bi-cell (9) caisson (1,1A) with demountable end walls (5) is placed in each excavation with reinforcement (7,8) which extends from both sides of the partition. The subsoil between the excavations is removed and the adjacent end walls (5) are retracted to put the adjacent cells in direct communication with the intercalary volume, and an overlapping reinforcement cage (15) is placed in the combined void.
