Organ with strings and plectrums for potential vibration

The invention is a musical instrument comprising a harmony table with several octaves of twinned strings, pretuned, made to vibrate by plectrums of which the contact with the strings is controlled by the corresponding keys of the keyboard. The plectrums, housed in supports articulated under the keys, are set in alternating potential movement by a mechanism comprising a common horizontal connecting rod where there are made square corrugations in which small studs slide, wedged on the plectrum supports. The connecting rod is anchored to the crank of an eccentric of which the shaft is driven either by an electric motor, or by a cord rolled onto a hoist and linked to a pedal box. IMAGE
