PURPOSE:To readily arbitrarily alter a target pattern of voltage/current by composing the blocks of a control system of software. CONSTITUTION:The AC output of an AC generator 1 is supplied through a rectifier 31 to a toroidal magnetic field coil 3 for nuclear fusion reactor. A microprocessor 20 programs the blocks of a current target pattern setting block 21, a voltage target pattern setting block 24, deviation detecting blocks 22, 25, 27, an error amplifying blocks 23, 26, contains them, and controls a field power source 11 in response to the detected outputs of DC current transformer 12, a DC transformer 13, a field current detector 14, and a field voltage detector 8. Thus, the voltage/current pattern can be readily altered.
