PURPOSE:To execute copying process meeting exactly the assigned reduction magnification by arranging a titled device in such a manner that either both operations of horizontal reduction magnification and vertical reduction magnification or one operation can be selected according to the command signal when the command to change the ratio of the vertical and horizontal reduction magnification is emitted. CONSTITUTION:The reduction magnification signal by the operation of an assigning and display device is subjected to the program processing of a CPU38c and the reference number of pulses corresponding to the reduction magnification is stored into a RAM38d. The number of pulses meeting the operator's input of the fine horizontal adjustment value is stored in the RAM38d in the case of the fine adjustment of the horizontal reduction magnification.
