PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copy machine resolving complexity of copy work by preventing a sheet of copy base paper placed on a document base (a glass surface) from being wound up and scattered so as to follow a pressing cushion on a rear side of a document cover when the document cover is opened after copy, and by introducing a function for performing reduction copy from two sheets of copy base paper to one sheet when a document automatic feeder is used.SOLUTION: Irregular grooves are provided in a seal on a surface of the pressing cushion 2 on a rear side of a document cover 1 of a copy machine 5. Further, a function for performing reduction copy or magnification copy from two sheets of copy base paper to one sheet at a time is incorporated into a system setting menu.
