POURING INSTALLATION PROVIDED WITH BOTTOM POURING TYPE INDUCTION MELTING FURNACE

PURPOSE:To provide a titled pouring installation which produces a casting having good quality with the simple installation by dropping a molten metal from the nozzle at the base of a bottom pouring type induction melting furnace installed on a gate type stand traveling across a vessel for receiving the molten metal. CONSTITUTION:A table lifter 6 is provided on leg poles 3a, 3b of the gate type stand 3 which is made self-travelable on rails 2 across a casting mold 1 by wheels 4 rotated by geared motor 45 and the bottom pouring type induction melting furnace 8 is installed in the central part of a lifting base 7 spanned across the same. Electricity is conducted through a bus bar 9 to the furnace 8 to heat inductively the metal in the furnace and to melt said metal. The furnace 8 is then lowered by the lifter 6 so as to approach the mold 1 and the molten metal is dropped from the nozzle provided to the furnace bottom into the mold 1. The oxidation of the molten metal is thus prevented and the movement of the mold 1 is averted, by which the casting having the good quality is obtd.
