Material based on hydrated calcium chloride which accumulates latent heat by phase change consists of a eutectic having a determined solid-liquid phase change temp. of 24.5+-0.6 deg.C, consists of 47.7+-0.5wt.% CaCl2, 44+-0.5wt.% water, 3.4+-0.3wt.% NH4Cl, 4.5+-0.3% KCl and 0.1-1wt.% NaCl.
