Material based on hydrated calcium chloride which accumulates latent heat by phase change consists of a eutectic having a determined solid-liquid phase change temp. of 23.5+-0.5 deg.C consists of 46.3+-0.5wt.% CaCl2, 45.1+-5wt.% water, 5.4+-0.3wt.% NH4Cl, and 0.1-1wt.% NaCl.
