The organ register pipes are arranged on spaced planes above each other. The pipe planes and all functional parts are secured on a common vertical plate, in and/or on which are fitted are fitted air pipes. The register pipes are pref. arranged on the plate front and rear slides such as to be height-adjustable. - In order to provide a stereo effect, the register pipes may; be arranged both inthe upper organ section and in a region near the bottom. The stereo effect may be enhanced by locating the register pipes closely outside the organ housing region.
