Thiazolidine derivs. of formula (I) and their salts are new. R1 = opt. substd. Ph; Q = single bond, 1-5C alkylene or 2-6C alkenylene; Q' = 1-5C alkylene; R2, R3 = H, 1-5C alkyl, 3-7C cycloalkyl, 1-6C alkanoyl, 2-6C alkoxycarbonyl, 1-5C alkylsulphonyl, PhCO, Ph or di-(1-5C)alkylphosphoryl; Y, Z = O or S. Intermediates of formula (II) and their salts are new. A = H or X2 - Q'; X2 = reactive residue. Intermediates of formula (III) and their salts are new.
