A device for favourably influencing the room climate in a livestock stall which is characterised in that there is arranged on the floor of the livestock stall a shielding mat which electromagnetically shields a predetermined region of the livestock stall floor, an electric line, which is either earthed or guided out into the open air, being connected to the mat.
