The method involves detecting the actual indoor climate data by an indoor climate sensor (32) that is arranged in the building (10). The actual outdoor climate data is detected by an outdoor climate sensor (33). The forecast data is memorized for the outdoor climate. The control variables are determined for influencing the indoor climate depending on the detected indoor climate data, the detected outdoor climate data, the forecast data for the outdoor climate and the target sizes. An independent claim is also included for a device for determination of control variables.
