A continuously operable cooking arrangement for fresh pasta, in particular in the form of egg noodles, has an elongate tray which is tapered towards one end. Fresh water is supplied at the broader end of the tray and boiling water is removed from the other end. A device for supplying heat is arranged near to the bottom of the tray, preferably at the wider end and extending over the width of the tray. The uncooked pasta, e.g. egg noodles, is supplied at the wider end of the tray and the ready-cooked noodles are removed from the boiling water at the narrower end. IMAGE
