Sheltering arrangement, in particular a passenger waiting hall

A description is given of a sheltered passenger waiting hall which is formed from a plurality of self-supporting sheltering segments. The individual sheltering segments are releasably fastened on one another, with the result that the passenger waiting hall can be expanded or reduced at will. Since each sheltering segment is self-supporting, no piers are necessary at the open access side, even in the case of relatively large passenger waiting halls.
