Bipolar gripping instrument, especially for general surgery

A bipolar gripping instrument (1), for example pincers, forceps or the like, has two legs (2) which can be moved toward one another during gripping and have gripping surfaces (4) present on their tips (3). On the opposite end the legs (2) are connected so as to be electrically insulated from one another and have a connection plug (5) for a high-frequency source. In order to avoid adhesion to coagulated tissue the mutually facing gripping surfaces (4) are provided on hard-metal bodies, i.e. they themselves consist of a hard metal. IMAGE
