The feed is for making up cardboard. It has a store (2) in which are stacked flat packages (2). A lift raises the packages to a conveyor. The store has four verticals (10a,10d) in parallel pairs to the conveyor movement. The spacing of these verticals is variable transversely and longitudinally by a stay (11) on which they slide. It has locks and pawls to control sliding and another stay (14) supports the verticals, controlled by endless screws (15c,15d). The position of the second stay is also adjusted on an endless screw (20).
