Process for the treatment of ultrafine alkali metal chloride in suspension in a solution of alkali metal or alkaline-earth metal chlorides

This process consists in adding to the said solution at least 0.1 % by weight of an alkyl polyalkoxy ether or of polycondensates of naphthalene alkylsulfonate and of phenol and is intended to prevent the sedimentation of the ultrafine alkali metal chloride contained. Application especially to the prevention and removal of any deposition of solid water on roadways in wintertime.
