KANJI (CHINESE CHARACTER) CODE CONVERTING SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To compress a necessary code area to the minimum by filling the unused area of the code system space assigned to the pair of the corresponding table. CONSTITUTION:To compress the space area of an I-F code table 10, the head address of a necessary code part 11 is extracted, the original point is shifted and a necessary code part 11' is obtained. In such a case, the size of the area occupied by the necessary code part 11' is the hexadecimal (X'40'XX'CO') and the area of the size is tightly arranged excluding an unnecessary part 12'. Namely, to compress the code system space area, by shifting, first, the head address for the necessary code part to the original point or the prescribed point and limiting the area, the unused area spread upward and downward is collected to one place. Next, the first byte of the necessary code part is shifted by two bits to the right, extracted from the original and thus, the pulling- out area between necessary code parts is excluded. Thus, the occupying area of the address space area can be compressed up to the necessary minimum limit.
