DIAGNOSTIC MEDICINE KIT FOR MASS-SCREENING OF CONGENITAL ADRENOCORTICAL HYPERPLASM

PURPOSE:To enable detection of only infants of congenital adrenocortical hyperplasm out of many new-born infants, by measuring quantities of 17alpha- hydroxyprogesterone and hydrocortisore with an enzyme labelling immunity quantitative analysis. CONSTITUTION:A sheet of paper disk impregnated with blood specimen is dipped in each well of micro-titre-plate transformed into the solid phase of the common No.2 antibody consisting of goat anti-rabbit 1gG serum -1gG fraction, and an antibody composed of diluted anti-17-OHP-BSA rabbit serum and diluted enzyme labelling 17-OHP-HRP compound are added and the mixture is incubated for 2-24hr at the room temperature. Then, each well is rinsed with physiological saline and an enzyme reactive substrate is added and incubated for 30-60min, for instance at 25 deg.C and an enzyme reaction arresting agent is added for arresting the reaction. Later, after colorimetric quantitative analysis, 17-OHP content in the blood is measured quantitatively. Further, hydrocortisone is available for the colorimetric quantitative analysis using a resistance composed of anti-hydrocortisone BSA rabbit serum in the same procedures.
