MULTIPLE HEAD VERTICAL TYPE NUMERICALLY CONTROLLED LATHE WITH WORK INDEX TABLE

摘要

PURPOSE:To aim at improvement in accuracy of finishing by a lathe and the promotion of high efficiency, by operating plural spindles and tool rests as well as a works index table with a numerical control system. CONSTITUTION:Two spindles 1 hold two works 9 on a work index table 22, an extruding pin 33 pushes up a pan and simultaneously these spindles 1 go up. The table 22 goes back, and each of two tool rests advances toward the corresponding spindle 1, machining the work 9. When machining is over, replacement between the machined work 9 and an unmachined work is smoothly carried out by rotation of the work index table 22. Therefore, system efficiency is improved and, what is more, mass production is made performable in this way.
