PURPOSE:To use a solar water heater even in winter in a cold district the same as in warm seasons, by forming a heat transfer part by attaching several number of upright short pipes to a heating header, and by inserting heat pipes in the short pipes. CONSTITUTION:Several short pipes are uprightly affixed to a transversely installed heating header 2, forming a heat transfer part 5, and heat pipes 6 are inserted in the short pipes. Flon gas heated by a heater 20 utilizing thermal inertia of air heating passes through a Flon gas pipe 7 as high temperature gas. The gas gives heat to the heat transfer part 5 while it is passing through the Flon gas pipe 7, heating heat pipes. The Flon gas turns into liquid after its heat is taken from it, returning to the heater, heated again and is circulated. The heat pipes heated by the Flon gas heat the water in a water tank up to hot water. A remote controller 10 is turned ON when a freezing prevention hot water temperature sensor 12 installed in the tank lowers down to the temperature 0 deg.C. A water riser pipe 13 and a hot water down pipe 14, connected to the hot water storage tank, are prevented from freezing by being kept warm by an electric heater.
