LPG from a supply tank is via a filter (2) supplied to an evaporator-pressure regulator (3). When the gas is brought up to required pressure, it passes into an air inlet duct, and gas distribution unit and also an air filter. Thus the required ratio of gas/air mixture is obtained. In front of each injector unit (15) fits a non-return valve (24) in each branch (14).
