The invention relates to a procedure for obtaining preparations for washing and care of the hair with a conditioning effect, in which a sodium alkyl ether sulphonate is put into a reactor with water and a premix of sodium lauryl ether sulphate, ethylene glycol distearate and coconut monoethanolamide is then added, followed by dilution of the contents of the reactor with water, with slow stirring, then a polymeric compound of the polyaldehyde-carboxylic acid type with a large number of carboxyl side groups and a reduced number of carbonyl side groups is added to the reactor, followed by the pumping into the reactor of an amphoteric derivative of the alkyldimethylcarboxymethylbetaine and alkylamidopropyldimethylcarboxymethylbetaine, homogenization of the contents of the reactor being carried out under refrigeration at approximately ambient temperature.
